Crazy weather to stay?

Climate scientists say the crazy weather currently creating flooding in the North of the UK, could be here to stay for a few years!

They beleive it is a combination of global warming and unusual ocean conditions making the jet stream more 'wavy'.

Arctic warming has made temperature contrasts smaller, weakening the jet stream, which allows it to be deflected by anomalies such as unusually cool patches of water in the North Atlantic.
