A surge of 0.83m is currently adding to the already 5.5m high lunar tide due around 2am of Monday, 30th November in the Essex coastal area.

Strong Westerly winds may help keep some of the surge out of the Blackwater Estuary, but please make use of the variety of 'Useful Links' on this website to keep an eye on the situation as it plays out through the night.
